Deriving from the wool of sheep, Pure Lanolin is incredibly similar to our own natural skin oils, making it ideal to use on very dry, chapped skin. NOW® lanolin ointment is solid in its natural state, with no added colour and not tested on animals.

This product is exactly what it claims to be .... Pure Lanolin. My face is extremely sensitive and this product is great for that. The only problem is that because it's so dense, it's not that easy to apply.

When I was young and pregnant I was told to empty a jar of lanolin and a bottle of baby oil into a heatproof bowl and put bowl into a saucepan of hot water to melt over heat and carefully stir together, then decant it into small jars carefully to cool. This was applied night and morning to prevent stretch marks. It worked, I have no stretch marks. Now I am very old and starting to get body wrinkles I thought I would try the same method to see if it would help. Don't wear 'good' night clothes as it can be sticky.
