What is your immune system and how does it work?
 
The immune system is one of the most complex parts of the human body. It protects us from colds, flu and many other viral and bacterial pathogens. Diseases such as Hepatitis and Lyme disease are at least partially caused by our immune systems inability to correctly identify and destroy the aberrant cells and invaders. This means that promoting a healthy body, through healthy diet, exercise, and even watching our thought processes and our emotional system, is vitally important to the overall health of our immune system.
 
The most outer level of the immune system is the skin, and the mucous membranes, such as in the nose and throat. These are physical barriers, and they have a protective effect from that point of view, as well as containing different elements like lactic acid (stomach), enzymes, lysosymes (a type of cell), and bacteria that help prevent infections and problems with foreign molecules. This is our 'first line of defense'.
 
Our blood supply contains immune system elements. It carries the lysosymes, interferons, and lactic acid, as well as being part of the properdin-complement pathway. Our cells also contain what are called non-specific immune system elements, meaning they are not specialised to deal with a particular pathogen, but are just a general protective mechanism. These are collectively called phagocytes, and are classified in two ways. The first are the macrophages, such as the Kuppfer cells in the liver, and the osteoclasts in bone. And the second are known as polymorphonuclear leucocytes, such as neutrophils.

Directions +

Mix entire contents into one gallon (1gallon US = approx 3,8 litres) of drinking water. After mixing, drink 2 ounces of the mix twice daily (not to exceed 4 ounces per day) or as recommended by your health care professional. The 2 ounces of mix can be added to juice or beverage. 
 
Caution: This is a concentrated solution.  This solution is not to be taken undiluted. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes with concentrated product. If contact occurs, flush with water.

I have been using this excellent product for several months and would not now be without it!Within a few days of first use I was aware of a significant increase in energy levels, and my occasional bouts of indigestion became a thing of the past.I make it up by diluting 30 ml of the concentrate in 2 litres of water - then take 60 mls of this diluted liquid once, or twice, a day.If you feel out of sorts and, generally, feel tired or sluggish, there’s a good chance your system is too acidic. Liph is an excellent way to address this situation.I recommend it!
