Bob's Red Mill OLD COUNTRY STYLE MUESLI is the perfect dry cereal for optimal health. Muesli was originally developed by a Swiss nutritionist in the 1800s and contains a blend of whole grains, dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Bob's Red Mill OLD COUNTRY MUESLI takes the commitment to health a little further by including rolled oats, wheat, rye, triticale and barley, along with chewy dates, raisins and sunflower seeds. It's packed with goodness for a balanced breakfast or even just a quick snack.

Directions +

Stovetop: For hot cereal, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.  Add 1/2 cup muesli, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 7 minutes.  Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.  Makes 2 delicious servings.

Microwave: Put 1/4 cup muesli and 1/2 cup water or milk in a large bowl.  Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stopping to stir once during cooking.  Makes 1 marvelous serving.

For cold cereal, add 1/4 cup muesli to 1/2 cup yogurt, milk, or fruit juice.  Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.  Makes 1 terrific serving.

To make 1 serving of Swiss-style cereal, combine 1/4 cup muesli, 1/2 cup yogurt and 1 cored and grated apple (including the peel).  Cover and let sit in the refrigerator overnight.
